“Morning is the best of all times in the garden. The sun is not yet hot. Sweet vapors rise from the earth. Night dew clings to the soil and makes plants glisten. Birds call to one another. Bees are already at work.” – Longgood
Brethren:
The sun rises in the East to open the day, and right now I certainly feel like it’s a new dawn for our lodge – with freshly invested officers stepping in to new roles and responsibilities. I know I speak for the whole leadership team when I say we are honoured to be in each of our respective new offices, and truly looking forward to the next 12 months of work – both inside and outside of the lodge.
This year we will be assigning to each of the next seven months one of the seven liberal arts and sciences – starting in December with “Rhetoric”. Stay tuned for more details as we roll out a series of interesting lectures and activities celebrating each of the arts and sciences in our own Victoria Lodge style.
As the dawn grows into day, I am sincerely looking forward to seeing every member contributing to lodge in his own unique way – and collectively developing our already highly esteemed lodge into an even better one.
Fraternal regards,
W Bro Christopher Hebert
