Bro. PAUL REVERE (1735 – 1818), who made the midnight ride to warn the Americans that “The British are Coming” was a member of the Lodge of St. Andrew, Boston, Massachusetts.

He was also a founding member of Rising States Lodge, and was its Worshipful Master in 1784. Ten years later he was elected Grand Master of the State of Massachusetts and served a two year term.

Bro. Revere was a silversmith by trade, and made many items with Masonic significance.
